Smooth render
Smooth acrylic render over blockwork, brick, cement sheet or polystyrene cladding. The classic modern look: crisp edges, flat faces, painted in any colour.
Textured render
A coarser finish coat that adds grain and shadow to a wall and suits fences, feature walls and whole exteriors.
Venetian plaster
Layers of lime plaster burnished to a smooth, marble-like sheen. A centuries-old finish for feature walls, fireplaces and ceilings that want a depth you cannot get from paint.
Micro cement
A thin, seamless coat applied over existing surfaces, so bathrooms, benchtops, floors and pool surrounds can be transformed with little or no demolition. We are a registered approved applicator of CEMHER micro cement in Queensland.
External cladding
Cladding installed over a framework and moisture barrier, finished with trims and paint, for a complete exterior makeover with better insulation.

Our approach
What goes into a wall that lasts.
A finish is only as good as what is under it. Every JC job goes through the same four stages, whether it is a feature wall or a whole facade.
Preparation
We inspect and repair the surface, clean it back, mask frames and glass, protect floors and furniture, and prime so the next coat has something to grip.
Base coat
The render or base plaster goes on first and is given the time it needs to cure before anything else touches it.
Finish coat
Smooth, textured or decorative: the finish coat is where the look is made, by hand, with a trowel.
Protect and hand over
Paint or sealer goes on last to protect the finish from moisture, stains and wear. Then we clean up, inspect the job with you and hand it back spotless.
